Centralize Your Data
If your organization is using more than one database to track data, you've already got problems. Multiple databases include things like membership databases or lists in Excel spreadsheets, Word documents or email applications. The problem is that multiple databases require multiple updates, which dramatically increases your chance for errors or omissions.
Choose a single location for your data and make sure all updates are made there. Once staff realize they can depend on one accurate database, they will wonder why they ever kept data anywhere else.
