Decentralize Data Entry

If one staff member is entering all data changes it is bound to take longer than if many staff members have the ability to make basic changes as soon as they know about them.

However, before you let everyone loose, make sure your staff is thoroughly trained on your data standards and is properly aware of the effect that incorrect or inconsistent data entry can have on your database's integrity.

With this in mind, it may be in your best interest to keep data entry capabilities in certain areas of your database off-limits to some staff members. Don't be afraid to do what's best for your database!
