Make a Database New Year's Resolution

As the new year approaches, like most people, you're bound to make some type of new year's resolution, whether its personal, business-related, or something else.

Might I suggest that you make one new year's resolution that is related to your organization's database? Here are some suggestions:

Clean up old data.
Eliminate redundant processes.
Work your PR machine; convince your users that the database DOES work.
TEST your backups. Make sure they're actually working.
